An “After The Holidays” Post

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, we were busy for three days straight. Yesterday was the final day of madness as the house had to be rearranged to make room for the abundance of new toys the kiddo received.

We finally got him out of the crib and into the big boy bed, we took his room and made it into a “big boy” room. There was really no “process” to the whole thing, it was simply asking if he wanted to sleep in a big boy bed instead of the crib (of course it helped that the big bed was decked out with Thomas And Friends pillows and sheets.) I know every child is different but I also think kids need to make their own timeline on some things, a crib is a safe zone, even when it’s turned into a day bed it still has that feeling of being their crib where as a standard bed doesn’t have railings and isn’t necessarily as close to the floor. With that said his bed is up against the wall on the one side and does have a mass amount of pillows guarding him in on the other side (it’s a double so it’s ginormous for him.)

I’ll most likely blog again in a few days, if not then in the new year about Nutella (and how wonderful it is even if it’s horrible.) And of course that New Years weight loss goal we all have 😉

About vanitymom

I'm here to talk about not only the joys of motherhood but also the (not so much joys) of living in a high society world that you're judged upon your looks... where I live you need to be a 7 to gain beach access, an 8 to walk around half naked in the summertime and atleast a 9 to hold your head up high. I'm Vanity Mom. I will be talking about things such as parenting (of course) beauty tips for moms, exercise, and eating healthy... all while doing this with a kid biting the hell out of your leg because he's teething.
