It’s Not Just A Cold, It’s A Super Bug!

I have a super bug, not just a cold or a flu, a SUPER bug, and I’m not just talking about a 2 year old. So what can be done about this super bug? Nothing at all, you have to ride it out which means one day you’re feeling a little better and actually get out and run errands, the next day you’re praying to whatever deities you pray to that you’ll just die already. It actually gets to that point that you just get so sick and tired of being sick and tired all the time that you think “giving up wouldn’t be so bad, at least I’d get some rest once I’m dead.”

I’ve drank my weight in NyQuil, taken more Tylenol in the past 3 weeks than I have in the past 3 years… I’ve put Vicks on my feet with socks, tried sleeping with a wool sock around my neck, tried every smelling ointment my German grandmother could give and still I’m riding out the super bug.

Seems like I’m always sick doesn’t it? I guess that’s the joys of working around germy kids all day, I have my own and then go to work and deal with other germy little kids. Oi!

Sorry for the lack of updates, once I’m done dying I have stories of poo monsters and teaching a child to blow their nose.

About vanitymom

I'm here to talk about not only the joys of motherhood but also the (not so much joys) of living in a high society world that you're judged upon your looks... where I live you need to be a 7 to gain beach access, an 8 to walk around half naked in the summertime and atleast a 9 to hold your head up high. I'm Vanity Mom. I will be talking about things such as parenting (of course) beauty tips for moms, exercise, and eating healthy... all while doing this with a kid biting the hell out of your leg because he's teething.
