Those dreaded 2 year molars are making their presence known as suddenly my son won’t eat ANYTHING and has his fingers jabbed so far back into his mouth I’m in awe that he doesn’t choke himself. I was really hoping we were done this but we’re not. I worry myself sick thinking he’s not eating enough and then I do something stupid like feeding him a milkshake before bed for all those extra calories and then wonder WHY he’s up and wired so late (for the record it was a strawberry milkshake but that’s beside the point.)

At this stage in the game I don’t even want to buy him any kind of teething ring because I know he’ll puncture the heck out of it and that since his jaw doesn’t unlatch itself that there’s no way that he’s going to get it all the way back there.

Seems like the picky eating and teething go hand in hand… we’ll be done this by the time he’s three right? Who knows what it’ll be then, the life of a toddler is forever changing, one day they love chicken fingers the next they scream bloody murder the second they hit the plate. One day they can’t get enough of something and will do it over and over again flawlessly the next day you suggest it and it’s a temper tantrum from the pits of heck.

It’s a guessing game I tell ya!

About vanitymom

I'm here to talk about not only the joys of motherhood but also the (not so much joys) of living in a high society world that you're judged upon your looks... where I live you need to be a 7 to gain beach access, an 8 to walk around half naked in the summertime and atleast a 9 to hold your head up high. I'm Vanity Mom. I will be talking about things such as parenting (of course) beauty tips for moms, exercise, and eating healthy... all while doing this with a kid biting the hell out of your leg because he's teething.
