Turning 2

Life has been horribly busy this past week and will remain that way until the weekend, its that time of year where its rush, rush, rush with taxes, baby showers, and now this Friday marks the 2 years that my bundle of running destruction has been on this earth. I quite miss the baby days when I could simply hold him and sing to him, now he squirms out of my arms and I have to wrestle him down for hugs and kisses. I have a very busy little boy on my hands lately, I don’t know if its because spring is finally here or if its all the pent up energy from winter but this child is INCAPABLE of actually walking anywhere, going for a family walk has turned into a family jog after a toddler.

This weekend we’ll be celebrating with friends and family with a Crayola Crayon themed birthday party. I’m still going to have to overhaul the house sometime this week and clean it, this Friday (his actual birthday) I took the day off work to be spent as a family day and hopes that I can do so for a number of his birthdays. Decorating the house will commence on Friday night and then Saturday at noon the chaos will begin. So please excuse the absence as I’m sure come next Monday I’ll have even more stories to tell.

About vanitymom

I'm here to talk about not only the joys of motherhood but also the (not so much joys) of living in a high society world that you're judged upon your looks... where I live you need to be a 7 to gain beach access, an 8 to walk around half naked in the summertime and atleast a 9 to hold your head up high. I'm Vanity Mom. I will be talking about things such as parenting (of course) beauty tips for moms, exercise, and eating healthy... all while doing this with a kid biting the hell out of your leg because he's teething.
