Daredevil Bred

I swear that kids are born with a daredevil instincts or what some parents might say “curiosity.” I think its implanted from the male spectrum of things because as a female I can say I know the consequences of my actions where as my husband boasts about the stupid things he regularly did as a child (like trying to balance and walk on pegged fences.)

Everyday a new grey hair is born from my son trying to jump and nearly clear the couch, or trying to jump over the couch to see what’s on the other side. I don’t understand where he thinks he’s allowed to stand on the coffee tables as its not like I spend my day standing on them. I even scratch my head in wonder as he insists on standing on his picnic table and inches closer to the edge until he can barely stand and then jumps off.

Maybe he’s looking for cause and effect but as he’s doing so I’m looking for a glass of wine as I tell him to stop trying to jump over the couch and that he’s not allowed climbing onto the counters.

About vanitymom

I'm here to talk about not only the joys of motherhood but also the (not so much joys) of living in a high society world that you're judged upon your looks... where I live you need to be a 7 to gain beach access, an 8 to walk around half naked in the summertime and atleast a 9 to hold your head up high. I'm Vanity Mom. I will be talking about things such as parenting (of course) beauty tips for moms, exercise, and eating healthy... all while doing this with a kid biting the hell out of your leg because he's teething.
