The exercise ball came back out yesterday, I’ve been so busy lately not only with my one business (and then working at the school) and finally with promoting my husband’s new book, that I have barely moved from the computer for the past few days. It had been deflated but I find through the day if its out and I see it I can do a few workouts on it quickly, yesterday was 200 crunches (not the full up and down ones but the left and right intense muscle burning ones) and do I hurt today! Its sad but I simply don’t have the time in a day to be putting in my exercise DVD’s like Insanity and to rock out an amazing workout, but every bit helps. The way I see it is if the ball is out then in passing, or when I need a moment to stretch or be away from the computer I can hop on there. My son seems to enjoy it as well, not only rolling the ball around the house but trying to catch mommy’s hair as she goes up and down or smacking her on the forehead.
I personally love the ball because they’re so versatile, you can do a million and one different moves on them and there’s TONS of video’s on you tube on getting great results with them, so I find that I’m never bored having to repeat the same moves over and over, and that I can work every part of my body.
Mom’s don’t get down if you can’t get out there to workout, every little bit counts, and sometimes its just as simple as leaving your equipment out in plain view, kind of the opposite of “out of sight out of mind.” So between balancing some work on the computer (the main task of business cards was done yesterday) and keeping a child entertained and happy, getting gas, getting breakfast, and heading to work… I should be able to get 200 more in today. Besides running after a kid burns calories too 😉
