Time and Beauty Management, Kids Bath Time!

I know its different for every mom out there but my son is now at the age that water totally delights him to the point of having to put a leash on the kid when we go to the beach or walk near a water way because he has yet to learn that you need to “respect” water or you’ll end up doing the deadmans float. My son LOVES being in the bathtub and at 15 months I don’t exactly need to be holding him every second that he’s here, I merely plop him in with two dozen toys and he could be in there all day happy as a clam as I sit across from him and watch.

Since you most likely have your hair tied back off your face (I know I do as I don’t need every part of me to be soaked) why not do a facial mask? St. Ives and Freeman (which both you can get at Wal-Mart for under $5 and last numerous applications) do amazing masks which clean and tighten pores, Freeman also has some yummy different flavors available like strawberries and chocolate (note it only SMELLS that good, don’t let a child think that’s chocolate syrup in that bottle) slather it on and let it dry while the munchkin is splashing away.

Are you a do it yourself mom? Then visit some sites online like Glamorganic and check out some do it yourself recipes. When your little one gets older this might even be a fun thing for the both of you to do, paint your faces green (or whatever other color) and have some fun while saving your poor skin!

About vanitymom

I'm here to talk about not only the joys of motherhood but also the (not so much joys) of living in a high society world that you're judged upon your looks... where I live you need to be a 7 to gain beach access, an 8 to walk around half naked in the summertime and atleast a 9 to hold your head up high. I'm Vanity Mom. I will be talking about things such as parenting (of course) beauty tips for moms, exercise, and eating healthy... all while doing this with a kid biting the hell out of your leg because he's teething.
